I’m a Christian, yet often find universal truths in other religious practices. Your idea of the need to learn to fall is one I’ve seen echoed in eastern religions like Buddhism as well as in the more familiar verses of scripture.
Let go, or be dragged. Zen proverb
A bent reed He will not break off,
And a dimly burning wick He will not extinguish Matthew 12:20
Falling with grace is a wise position to take. Thank you for the reminder. Some might say you’ve been black-pilled, but I think rather it’s just based on what we see around us right now and a desired to be prepared. I hope and pray for the cup to pass us by, but strengthen my resolve and be ready for whatever may come.
