Why Did Pelosi Change Her Mind and Decide to Seek Re-election?

The answer should terrify you

Everybody knows the Republicans will take back the House in 2022, and Kevin McCarthy will be the new Speaker.

It’s been in all the news. Every poll, every pundit, every prognosticator tells us it’s a done deal. The Republicans will own the House.

Everyone knows this except Nancy Pelosi.

Pelosi bought a retirement home in Florida last year. She told close friends and fundraisers she would not seek re-election. She didn’t want to be a back-bencher again. She saw the writing on the wall and knew the gavel would pass.

Then, something changed.

Out of nowhere, Pelosi announced she’s running for her 138th term in Congress. What happened?

Simple. Someone presented to Pelosi a plausible plan for a Democrat majority in the 2022 election.

I have no idea that that plan is, but I have a hunch it will involve an increase in voting by mail. An increase over 2020. And that voting by mail offers the perfect opportunity to steal a couple dozen races.

Now, we all know they can’t use Covid as the excuse this time. But they don’t need Covid.

If you consider the increasing likelihood of severe food shortages beginning in June or July, by November, the country could be generally unsafe. Hungry people become violent. Going outside for anything becomes dangerous when the streets are filled with starving people. And, if you think Americans are too civilized to kill each other over food, remember that we routinely kill each other over Black Friday sales on 32-inch televisions.

A few days ago, we reported about the amazing number of food distribution and processing plants destroyed by fires, explosions, and plane crashes in just the past few months. Twenty four since February, and a dozen in the six months before that. At the same time, the war in Ukraine is reducing grain, fertilizer, and oil exports. Malaysia just banned the export of edible oils, and they produce about 1/3 of those products for the whole world. Union Pacific Railroad is throttling the delivery of fertilizer to American farms, and no on know why. Union Pacific refuses to comment.

Meanwhile, the bird flu could wipe out a third of the US poultry population which would cause the cost of chicken and turkey to skyrocket. And higher prices for poultry will increase the price of beef and pork.

This all comes atop the fastest inflation since the Carter Administration and global shortages of everything from micro chips to pumps, which are both crucial in the agricultural business.

Then you have Biden meeting with Antifa terrorists.
