The Peaks Get Taller, the Chasm Deeper, the Springs Stretched to Full Capacity
Italy's election exacerbates the growing divide between the Christian individual and the godless state
Just days before Italy’s elections, European Union (EU) leader Ursula von der Leyen, who was never elected to anything, threatened to punish Italian voters if they defied their Brussels masters. “If things go in a difficult direction, we have tools, as in the case of Poland and Hungary," von der Leyen told reporters last week, as The Gateway Pundit reported.
Poland and Hungary are the last remaining Christian nations in Europe. Or, I should say, they were. Italian voters have now returned to their Christian roots. The EU does not like Christianity and has punished both Poland and Hungary for refusing to cave to family mutilation, cultural destruction, and state-sponsored atheism.
Now, Italians have rejected the New World Order in a landslide for a conservative coalition led by a woman who identifies herself as a woman, a mother, a daughter, an Italian, and a Christian. Watch (and read the subs):
“We will defend God, country, family.”
—Prime Minister-elect Giorgia Meloni of Italy
Nothing strikes fear in the hearts of Brussels—or American—bureaucrats like those three words: God, family, country. The New World Order, in all its myriad shapes, is the enemy of those three things, in that order.
The left has sought for decades to lash out at God by attacking national sovereignty and family unity. As Our Lady told Sr. Lucia in 1917, “the final battle between the Lord and the reign of Satan will be about marriage and the family.”
Though the EU is claims to be an economic union, Ursula von der Leyen accidentally exposed the true nature of its aims: to eliminate God from human life by systematically dismantling nations and families.
“The final battle between the Lord and the reign of Satan will be about marriage and the family.” —Our Lady of Fatima
With Italy joining Poland and Hungary in defying their globalist slave-masters, the peaks of light grow taller and the chasm of globalism becomes deeper, darker, and angrier.
Fittingly, Europe is about to experience the darkest, coldest winter in decades. The timing of Europe’s first cold snap of the season could not be better, coming on the heels of Meroni’s monumental win. Via Zerohedge.com:
Forecaster Maxar WeatherDesk said temperatures in London would sink 5 degrees Celsius below average, falling as low as 6.5 degrees Celsius (43 Fahrenheit) overnight on Sept. 27. In Frankfurt, Germany, temperatures will fall 3.5 degrees Celsius below normal levels on the 28th, while France and Spain will see temperatures 3-4 degrees lower than the seasonal norm.
Italy, if you notice, will be largely spared the energy strain. The cold spell will test Europe’s fragile energy system and refocus European citizens of the folly of its leaders’ destructive green agenda.
While we cheer Meloni’s steadfastness and victory, we must consider the upheaval coming. Political chasms, like voids in nature, will be filled. The increasing contrast between the Godless communist thugs who run the EU, NATO, and the USA in the valley, and the God-fearing Christians rising to the peaks of power on the mountains increases conflict at the joints—like tectonic plates fighting to move in opposite directions.
I like to think of conflict as opposing forces attempting to occupy the same space, while tension comes from parts of a whole driving in opposite directions. When tension grows high enough, the joining fabric rips. But, when conflict become too strong, we get earthquakes. Of the two, conflict produces far more violence and leaves a nastier mess to clean up.
The American Revolution was an example of tension; World Wars I and II, conflict. The American Civil War began as a war of tension that quickly recoiled into a conflict.
In geopolitical terms, tension and conflict often displace each other, like Wile E. Coyote’s malfunctioning Acme Rocket Shoes, as described in the most brilliant satire piece ever written, Wile E. Coyote v. Acme.
Wile E. Coyote attached his Acme Rocket Shoes to a boulder in a configuration meant to thrust him horizontally toward the Roadrunner. But, when Coyote pulled the release lanyard, we learned a lesson in tension and conflict:
At this point, Defendant’s product should have thrust Mr. Coyote forward and away from the boulder. Instead, for reasons yet unknown, the Acme Spring-Powered Shoes thrust the boulder away from Mr. Coyote. As the intended prey looked on unharmed, Mr. Coyote hung suspended in air. Then the twin springs recoiled, bringing Mr. Coyote to a violent feet-first collision with the boulder, the full weight of his head and forequarters falling upon his lower extremities.
The force of this impact then caused the springs to rebound, whereupon Mr. Coyote was thrust skyward. A second recoil and collision followed. The boulder, meanwhile, which was roughly ovoid in shape, had begun to bounce down a hillside, the coiling and recoiling of the springs adding to its velocity. At each bounce, Mr. Coyote came into contact with the boulder, or the boulder came into contact with Mr. Coyote, or both came into contact with the ground. As the grade was a long one, this process continued for some time.
We can learn a lot from old cartoons.
Within, between, and among nations, the world is set for alternating rounds of tension and conflict. Italy is the latest nation to seek being left alone, to distance itself from the EU, but the EU won’t allow it. The bureaucrats will meddle, bringing the two bodies into painful contact, which will result in another pulling away. Like Wile E. Coyote and the boulder, a series of collisions and extensions will continue until either the two break apart or one or the other is destroyed.
Either the Christian coalition of Italy, Poland, and Hungary or the EU (or both) will end up like the cartoon character:
Repetition of blows along a vertical axis produced a series of regular horizontal folds in Mr. Coyote’s body tissues—a rare and painful condition which caused Mr. Coyote to expand upward and contract downward alternately as he walked, and to emit an off-key, accordionlike wheezing with every step. The distracting and embarrassing nature of this symptom has been a major impediment to Mr. Coyote’s pursuit of a normal social life.
In Europe, as in America, one faction seeks to embrace God, family, and country, while another would kill or die to destroy all three. Thanks to Fatima, we know what this tension-conflict collision dance is all about: God on the side of family and country, Satan on the side of the EU and the Biden Administration.
The answer, as always, is to remember our struggle is not against flesh and blood, though flesh and blood could pay the price of the battle. Instead, we must open ourselves constantly—every minute, every decision—to God’s holy will and let His will, not ours, guide our every move.
Italians responded to the call of that will, pulling the lanyard on its spring shoes with hopes of surging toward its goal of securing family and country with God’s help. But the EU boulder will spring in the wrong direction, trying to pull Italy from its target.
While I’d love to help Italy snap the springs binding it to the EU, we have our own struggle in the USA, where the forces of evil in Washington try to destroy the family and, with it, God and country.
It’s Rosary time.
What I am hoping is that in November the USA comes to its senses and we wrest the country out of the hands of the woke globalist represented by the Democratic party. Italy has shown it can be done.
Let us pray for God, Country, family, and common sense.
Her ending Chesteron quote was "fire". Love her, May God bless and keep her. I'm wondering what our dear Pope has to say about this?
