Last November, I called on President Trump to apologize for Covid hysteria.
A year ago, it was impossible to defend the lockdowns or the vaccine. They were proven to have done more harm than good.
Don’t let Biden’s rhetoric fool you. The defects of the vaccines and the cost of the lockdown are undeniable. Even those who defend vaccine mandates know in their hearts the vaccines are ineffective and dangerous.
I warned that, unless he got in front of it, the media and the government would hang him with the blame for excess deaths, lockdowns, an uneducated generation, and, most of all, the failed vaccines.
At some point, polling will show a groundswell of opposition to boosters and blood clots. That’s when the media and the administration will pivot to hang it all on Trump.
The Final Covid Narrative Shift Is Here
Yesterday, Politico breathlessly blamed Trump for the failed vaccines, confirming my prediction:
This story will have legs.
The Sunday talk shows will each take “an in-depth look” at how Trump pressured Pfizer, Moderna, the FDA, the CDC, Dr. Fauci, and Dr. Birx to release untested and dangerous drugs into the wild. Comedians will turn against the vaccines like rabid dog on its master. Before you know it, the crowd that boasted of being “double vaxxed and twice boosted” will become the hapless victims of Trump wicked holocaust.
“President Trump ordered the relaxation of numerous protocols designed to prevent exactly what transpired with the mRNA vaccines,” Jake Tapper will tell the nation. “All for a boost in the polls.”
It’s too late for Trump to apologize now. He continued to praise Operation Warp Speed and the vaccines long after data showed the vaccinated were more likely to contract Covid and other viral infections. He missed his chance to recognize the deadly effect the Covid vaccines have on young, health men. Though he dropped from his stump speech boasts about Warp Speed (after getting booed by attendees at a Trump Rally), he failed to take responsibility for the greatest public health failure in history.
For failing to accept responsibility and promising to fix his error, he may have done to himself what the FBI, CIA, DOD, DOJ, and press could not.
This will get interesting.
