The GOP Could Do One Thing to Win Me Back

And they won't do it because they're stupid and anti-American

For the record, I am not a Republican. I disavowed the Republican Party in 1996 when they cheated to give the nomination to Bob Dole over Pat Buchanan.

I campaigned for George W. Bush in 2000, and I’ve supported many Republican candidates since then. I spoke to countless Pachederm clubs, Republican Townships, and other GOP events. I’ve attended Lincoln Days dinners. But did them as an outsider.

The GOP has made no attempt to win me back. Instead, it’s tried to shame me into becoming a Republican. Shame doesn’t work on men, and any psychologist will tell you so. Shaming a man is a fast-track to divorce.

Despite our 27-year trial separation, the GOP could, in 2023, win me back. Here’s how and why.

The Democrats have announced they will hold no debates for the 2024 election. They have to protect Joe Biden’s frail physical and mental condition, so there will be no forums that could rattle the old man.

They made this announcement after a formidable contender entered the ring: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. The Dems realize that Kennedy debating Biden would be like Mike Tyson in his prime boxing Stephen Hawking. Even the wheelchair would get killed.

So, the Democrats abolished debate for Joe. All for the love of Joe, bless his heart.

What the Republicans could do, if they were any better than the Democrats, would be to invite RFK to participate in the Republican debates. He would have complete autonomy to attack Trump or any of the pygmies who’ve lined up to get their careers ruined by Trump. Kennedy could debate as a Democrat at a Republican debate. No restrictions of any kind.

In fact, the Republicans should invite any Democrat who wants in. Why limit it to the guy with all the name recognition and 14 percent of the Democrat vote (even before he started campaigning)? Let any Democrat who wants to debate show up and claim a podium.

Why would this win me back to the GOP?

Inviting a Democrat to participate in a Republican debate would turn the political process on its head. It would expose the Democrats as the party of globalist elites and establish the GOP as a party serious about America’s future.

More importantly, the move would force the Republican candidates to deal with the election process like grown-ups. They couldn’t tell lies that appeal to Republican voters, because Kennedy would expose their dishonesty. They couldn’t rely on trite platitudes for applause, because Kennedy speaks exclusively in substance. He would destroy their shallowness.

Most importanly, putting Kennedy on the debate stage against Donald J. Trump and 14 also-rans would show the world that there are only two men who are serious about fixing America and making her great again: Donald Trump and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. For the other candidates, it’s all political masturbation.

The only issue today and in 2024 is the annihilation of the Deep State, the destruction of corporatism. Trump and Kennedy have made clear that is their mission. By calling the leading Democrat contender to the stage with the only viable Republican—Trump—the GOP would prove the country matters more to the party than the party itself. Nothing would be more impressive to voters.

But, alas, the party is much more important to Republicans than our country. The RNC is Made in China, just like the Biden clan.

There will be no disruption to the party debate formula this election cycle. The Republicans want to protect Biden just as much as the Democrats do, because, to the GOP, anything is better than Trump and nothing is worse than a Trump supporter.

I will end by repeating that I endorse Donald J. Trump for the Republican nomination for President, and I endorse Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for the Democrat nomination. I urge every true American in a deep red or deep blue state to consider voting in the Democrat primary or caucuses for Kennedy.

A lot of people say, “Country over party” when there’s nothing on line. This cycle, the very republic is on the line, as is the idea of self-governance. This is our last chance to restore liberty and the rule of law without a long, bloody civil war. The parties are the enemy of the people, both and equally. Anyone who supports a party is an enemy of the republic and the people who formed it. This is our best chance to live up to our rhetoric.
