Put Joe Biden on suicide watch.
Today was yet another gut-punch of a day for the aging and senile president who has failed to achieve any of his authoritarian ambitions (beyond stealing an election).
In the latest loss, the Supreme Court blocked his vaccine mandate for all companies with 100 or more employees. While this decision is only an injunction to block the mandate from moving forward until a full trial, the court provided strong evidence that such a trial will end in another loss for Old Joe.
“Applicants are likely to succeed on the merits of their claim that the Secretary lacked authority to impose the mandate. Administrative agencies are creatures of statute.”
The decision makes a strong case for why OSHA lacks authority: viruses are not workplace hazards unless you work in a bioweapons lab like Dr. Fauci. For the vast majority of Americans with jobs, the risk of Covid exists at home, in the store, and at a ballgame, not just at work.
A vaccination, after all, “cannot be undone at the end of the workday.”
As expected, all six ‘conservative’ justices voted to block the mandate, and all three Marxists voted to permit the intrusion.
More to come. In the meantime, here’s a link to the full decision.
My only disappointment with decision: Nowhere in the text can I find “Let’s go, Brandon!”
We won a battle, not the war.
I speak as someone who knows the heartbreak of watching a Cardiac Cardinals win evaporate in the fourth quarter.
Washington is still corrupt, and the game is still rigged.
A step in the right direction.
