And, if we learned anything from South Africa’s omicron spike it’s that sharp climbs are followed by sharp drops.
Notice how much steeper is the decline on the right than one to its left.
With the omicron just about at its peak in the US, you can expect to a similar drop in new cases very soon. If today was the peak (and it might be), the next couple of weeks should track something like this:
