Biden's "Covid Cabinet" stages insurrection against current strategy

A stunning narrative-buster hit the news today as reported by Fox News:

Six members of the advisory board that worked with President Biden during his transition period before taking office are now calling on him to take a different approach to the COVID-19 pandemic than the one he is currently using.

Writing in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), Drs. Ezekiel Emanuel, Michael Osterholm, Celine Gounder, David Michaels, Rick Bright and Luciana Borio summarized why the full-vaccination strategy failed. Via Fox News:

"Current vaccines do not offer sterilizing immunity against SARS-CoV-2 infection. Infectious diseases cannot be eradicated when there is limited long-term immunity following infection or vaccination or nonhuman reservoirs of infection."

The six docs must read Hennessy’s View because that’s what we’ve been saying for over a year. You cannot vaccinate your way out of a pandemic with an animal reservoir.

Good Observation, Predictably Horrible Recommendation

What wasn’t shocking was the group’s recommendation: more of the same.

• More vaccine mandates

• More submission to public health overlords

• Restrictions on movement

• Massive databases and surveillance systems to track every human being’s every move

At this point, the six doctors are completely wrong. Blinded by their Marxist zeal, what they advocate is actually a doubling-down on the very program they recognize as failed. And it’s wrong in a familiar way: centralization. Centralization is Satan’s best friend.

From the beginning, we’ve heard that we need a “global approach,” and that’s exactly how things have been. Sweden was the only country that didn’t implement, almost verbatim, whatever the World Health Organization demanded. And Sweden had the best results of any industrialized country—until the Swedes adopted aggressive vaccination strategies.

For the past two years, that global response has changed directions countless time, often doing full 180-degree reversals with no explanation and no evidence to support either contradictory position.
